Our hotel concept is developed for guests who see the usefulness in spending their money on other things than accommodation. Even though we offer low prices, we also offer good service and clean rooms with made beds.
In order to ensure your lowprice-accommodation the hotel reception is only employed on weekdays from 07.30am to 15.00pm (weekdays in June and july from 07.30am to 22.00pm and Saturday and Sunday 7.30am to 15.00pm). You can call the switchboard even if the reception is unemployed. You can check-in 24 hour. Our porter phone with the front door can be used 24 ours to booking and assistance.
We do not serve ordinary breakfast, but offer a very basic self-service meal from our large refrigerated unit. This consists of a choice of hard and soft bread, jam, spreadable and regular cheeses and the like, which we sell for 20 NOK per person ( free for children under the age of 16 accompanying adults).This is available from 06.00am to 23.00pm.
There are refrigerators in all the guest rooms. You may also make use of our general kitchen for food preparation. This also includes free coffee and tea which can be taken to your room in a pot/thermos.
When making a reservation, you will be given a code for the hotels entrance door and for your room key.
Should there be a need for contact with service personel upon arrival or during your stay, there is a telephone in the reception for this purpose.
There is a washing machine and a dryer available for rent.
We wish to give our guests the feeling of living in a homey hotel. In addition to having a TV in each guest room, we also have a common TV-lounge which may be used socially together with others.
Hotell Nord was established 1.January 1992 by the daily manager Stig Hansen.
The hotel consists of 22 rooms, altogether 39 beds. We have 6 rooms with shower and toilet. Rooms without shower and toilet does have a sink. In the hall of each floor there are common showers and toilets which are cleaned several times per day. We have some rooms where smoking is allowed.
