Summer internship Lysaker

PGS is looking for a software engineer to help out in development of a 3D seismic display software package. The software is written in C++ using the OpenGL API under Linux. The user interface is also written in OpenGL, and the main work will be to make the user interface cleaner and easier to use.

Main tasks and responsibilities: Review existing user interface and implement improvements Contribute in developing a 3D visualisation software system   Required qualifications: Interest in and knowledge of interaction design Knowledge of C++   Other qualifications: Knowledge of OpenGL Knowledge of Linux operating systems   Personal skills: Quality-oriented and accurate Systematic and analytical Works well with others Creative and willing to try out new ideas Pragmatic and solution-oriented
